Our Story

Alishaan has proudly served Cottingham since 1997, making us one of the first Indian restaurants in the Hull area. We're a family-run business led by Shahin, with support from his business partner Salik.

We’re known for our freshly prepared dishes, friendly service, and loyal customers who’ve been with us for decades. During COVID, we introduced takeaway and delivery — and it’s stayed ever since thanks to high demand.

With options for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free diners, plus a fully licensed bar, Alishaan offers something for everyone.

Came here yesterday with my sis and bro-in-law and had an excellent meal. Very tasty food with a good balance of spices and heat, and good, friendly service. Highly recommended.

Dined in on several occasions now and love it just as much every time. Service is always great and the the food is just as good too. Tried takeaway this time and the food and service was great as ever. I deffo recommend the chicken tawa!!

A place to visit when in Cott. Staff very helpful, food very tasty and prices are ok on the wallet.House red nice at the price (£19). They even provided extra salad plates for a shared starter, first time ever.
